About the Show
Why Sevo Sistas?
"Sevo" — short for sevoflurane, the anesthetic agent — is a nod to the operating room where so many of these conversations begin. Sevo Sistas was created to give women of color in anesthesiology a platform, a community, and a voice. Each episode features candid conversations about career, identity, and what it means to thrive in a specialty that has historically underrepresented us.
